Vegan Chocolate Bars

Ingredients:

 

2 cups medjool dates

2 cups nuts (your choice – almonds, hazel nuts etc)

3/4 cup cacao powder

1/4 carob powder

2 Tbsp coconut oil

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup sesame seeds

drop of vanilla extract

2 Tbsp espresso coffee

pinch of salt

pinch of cayenne

Method:

 

Place all the ingredients into the food processor and blend it all together.

(Make sure you use good quality equipment. Cheap food processor would not be able to handle that sticky mixture too well and may break.)

 

Now you have a choice to make energy balls or energy bars out of you mixture.

It’s up to you. I choose to make energy chocolate bars at the end 🙂

 

Also, you can add any other ingredients to the mixture, such as vegan protein powder or super foods. Enjoy and be creative.
