JELLY TIP CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE 100% NEWZEALAND MADE!!!
Base:
1 pack of malt biscuits
1 pack of jelly tip chocolate biscuits
100g melted butter
filling:
250g cream cheese
300g cream
1 block of Jelly tip whittakers chocolate
Topping:
Half a block of Jelly tip whittakers chocolate
Method:
Combine malt & Jelly tip biscuits in a food proceser until fine. Mix in melted butter the put into a greased spring cake tin & press firmly on base then put aside.
For the filling beat cream until thick then put aside in a seperate bowl beat cream cheese until light & creamy then put aside… Melt chocolate in a bowl over a pot with water do not worry about the chocolate being to thick when you stir it this is just the jelly in the chocolate when melted you want to pick up the paste & work with it abit faster as the chocolate kinda sets itself… So mix it in with the cream cheese til combine then fold in the thickened whipped cream.
Now spread filling onto the base… With the topping you get a half block of chocolate & just decorate the top how ever you want I did something quite creative as you can see I finely grated the darker side of the chocolate then cut the rest up & placed it all around the cheesecake. place in fridge for 4 hours or over night
