Paris Motor Show 2016

It is Motor show Season in Europe and America again, and that means a new round of crazy concept cars and the latest releases.

Paris has seen the release and display of some very interesting and cool cars:

Honda Civic Type R

The current Civic Type R is a proper monster, over 300hp and some trick suspension it is properly fast.
The next gen car was shown for the first time at Paris, and it’s got 4 doors!
The new platform is wider and lighter than the out going model, so despite the extra seats, it should actually be faster.

RENAULT TREZOR CONCEPT

Renault are still trying to be cool after losing thier mojo in the 90s, Trezor is a design study, slightly retro, slightly futuristic, very Sci Fi.

 

FERRARI GTC4 LUSSO T

Because the Ferrari FF was such a sucess they have made it better with the GTC4 Lusso T. It is really just Hatchback with a 6.3-liter V-12 making 680 hp at an 8000 rpm.

 

2017 Landrover Discovery

Yes, it is finally on it’s way! The new Discovery will upset the purists, but it is going to be a properly modern technology power house that is still rugged, reliable and unstoppable off road. Set for release in 2017, there are 3 engine options to start with. A 2.0 Turbo diesel four pot for anyone on a budget, and two 3.0 V6 options, a petrol and a diesel for anyone who actually wants to get somewhere.

It is similar in size to the extinct model, but thanks to Aluminium construction is nearly 500kg lighter, while also being stronger. The design is softer, more rounded, but is in keeping with the current Landrover design language.
