So, the Burger…

Fresh Aioli

So ok yeah, Burgerfuel has been playing it safe it would seem since the great Harajuku chicken disaster with the simple Americana cheese burger and now this bacon bbq creation.. which is a bit of a shame since the Venison bluecheese burger would give a mouth-gasam everybite and was I think the only burger that I’ve ever given a 10/10. The problem with simple burgers as a feature means the challenge isn’t the creation but the execution of a great burger based on the fact the idea itself is fairly common and people will have an idea going in of what to expect.

So, how was it? well, It was pretty damn good, put it this way if you’re a Burgerfuel regular you’l know what to expect and you wont be disappointed, this was exactly what I had expected.. the ingredents were all top notch as per although mine was a bit falling apart for the camera but nothing a Doofer couldn’t fix..

I usually wouldn’t ever considering ordering onion rings but I gota say, they were a nice addition.. my usual at BF is a Freakout with adding cheese so this was that kinda but with bbq sauce and the onion rings, so as I say expectations we’re high and I wasn’t let down in the taste or the mouth feel meter it was great and I’ll get another before they run out – assuming I get another tinder match of course..

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!!

Those of you that was our webisodes saw Alan and I try the Chop Shop chicken which fuck me is amazing but this time I asked for half the amount of sauce / aioli and it was a great decision, also as a note they seemed slightly over cooked which I wasn’t complaining about at all so if you like a good boneless fried chicken I strongly reccomdend adding those to your order – at $9.90 it’s not the cheapest of sides but when its that good.. its worth it.. in fact if you’re not feeling a burger, those and some spud fries would be a great little feed

But … my main gripe…

It’s a little… uninspired .. not to say it wasn’t awesome a soild 8.5 would nom again BUT … as I mentioned the Venison blue cheese burger from some months back was a brilliant and different and fucking awesome idea and they nailed it.. The Harajuku chicken was another great Idea but it missed the mark for me personally however it was nothing a slight alteration couldn’t fix for next time.. my point being the American muscle burger was basically a double cheese burger and this is basically a bbq bacon burger.. I really hope their next burger gets a bit daring again cause it might not work but it might just be the 2nd best thing you could put in your mouth..

Untill next time burger lovers!
