In this episode of The Open Road,

Nick Drives the Haval H9 – just landed from China.

Max power – 180kw @ 5500rpm
Max Torque – 350 Nm @ 1800-4500rpm
Transmission – ZF – 8AT w/ paddle shift

5 year / 100,000km warranty

So some final thoughts on this, when I dropped the car back my video had already been seen, a couple things like the rattle in the bonnet is planned to be addressed and there is talk about getting an offical licence for NZ to change the suspension in this truck. All things in the right direction which will add to the purchase price but I assume will keep it at a very reasonable price overall. I was urged to take it proper off roading but I didn’t have a lot of faith in it. We might look at that in the future however, the H6 which is more inline against an Equinox or a Sante fe is likely going to get a look in sooner rather than later as the size is probably going to be something more appealing to more kiwis.
