Steven Decided he wanted pies for dinner, but didnt know what pie to choose, so he decided to choose 3 and let you guys know which was the best
There wasn’t a huge amount of science involved in this, all pies were oven cooked to the instructions on their packets
First up is a Savoury Mince by Pams
Crisp pastry moist but not runny
Good flavour
Its mince so probably was a pet at one stage
Good solid mince pie 6/10
Next up is a Tulsi – Lamb Rogan Josh pie
Quite flaky pastry but not dry
Spicy filling with big lumps of meat
Bloody good actually
Still a 6/10 woulda got more but the thick pastry made it a little dry and you cant really add tommy sauce to curry
Lastly Dad’s Pies – Angus Chilli Beef and Cheese
Best flavour of all 3 even if the “Chilli” kicks like a little girl
Solid 8/10 and a clear winner
