Wind Therapy – The First One – Report

What a ride! We’re still buzzing from how our first Wind Therapy project came together, and we couldn’t let the moment pass without saying a massive thank you to everyone who got behind it.

After a much needed week of rest and reflection, we’ve worked through our project recap and thought we’d share what we collectively achieved.

As proud as we are of the total raised, we’re even more excited about the connections made and the momentum built. This campaign wasn’t just about fundraising — it was about proving what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

It’s easy to talk about community — but seeing it in action is something else entirely. Watching everyone pull together, share the workload, and bring their energy and enthusiasm was incredible. From the early-morning setups to the last-minute rushes, and all the laughs, sweat, and stories in between — it reminded us just how powerful people can be when they rally behind a good cause.

If you want to dive into the numbers, we’ve prepared a summary report (linked below). But if that sounds like a slog, just know that your efforts and participation helped us poke around in the shed, make some fun YouTube videos, and ultimately donate a motorcycle to Te Kiwi Maia and raise over $20,000 whilst sharing our own stories about mental health and motorcycles.

Thanks so much for being a part of our first Wind Therapy project – we could not have done this without the support of the community and the industry as a whole. Given that this has been a deeply emotional journey for me, I’d like to personally thank each and every one of you for making this project what it’s been, and we look forward to working with you on the next one!
