After thoughts.

As is always the way with these reviews, we can’t fit it all into the film and some revelations present themselves after the fact.

A perfect example of this appeared at the fuel pump, I was expecting a big bill for filling this up. However, $100 kiwi bucks raised the level from 1/4 to 7/8 of a tank, I did not expect that at all. The combination of that capable engine and always wanting to be chill 10 speed transmission creates a drive that is relaxed and comfortable. The urge to plant the go button and hear that V8 isn’t ever present, but its nice to know its there should you want to get around a tesla and establish dominance. I did have the numbers run on this and at $2800 per month it seems like a lavish expense for a few dickheads on the internet to throw around money at a vehicle like this, but its not completely out of the question. I did have a great experience at the dealership too. It’s always funny showing up as a motoring journalist looking like I do but the lad there was amazing, we had a great yarn and we both really enjoy the Yukon. Needless to say we’re fans and this is something to aspire to for us.

I was attempting to explain how you can feel the transition between the bolstering of the suspension in corners to the return to cloud experience once back on the straights. There’s “something” going on and I can feel it, at first it was disconcerting but as the Yukon and I got to know each other better, it fades away as did many of those little intrusive thoughts from the car.
