Mclearen have just launched a new beast, damn it seems savage
We don’t have pricing yet but needless to say it’s gona be a lot so lets just drool instead yeah? k
710hp from a twin turbo 4.0 liter V8 770nm- Seven speed flappy box ( i think its safe to assume double clutch at this point) Drift mode for getting silly.
It’l smash the 0-100 in Under 3 seconds and rocket all the way to 340km/h which might be a tough ask to achieve that in this country but i’ll sure be keen to give it a crack.
I’m not sure how I feel about this glass top tho, the 570 GT had this and it just didn’t sit right with me, but one thing that has come up the ranks from the 570 is the cute butt, the 650/675’s had a more 12-c type moulded rear end to look pretty, this has more of a purposeful exhaust area that looks like its there for good reason not just to look pretty.
Another thing that looks great to me is a slightly more involved interior, I was never a fan of the simplistic design of the 12-c and this while looking slick does look like you can get more involved with the operation of fiddling with things, and I like to fiddle. Also i love this idea of the pop down dash, which when you put it in silly mode will slide down the normal driving screen/display and give you only the essentials
It’s gona be a year before we see any on the roads here in New Zealand but i have to say, I am looking forward to that day.. which coincidentally is going to be just after my birthday so..
