SEAT Leon Cupra 300 – The Open Road

In this Episode of The Open Road,

Nick’s driving the brand new, almost realeased offically SEAT leon Cupra, just come into NZ under VAG it should add an interesting dynamic to the Euro Hot Hatch market, Enjoy the film!

The guys at SEAT tell me the correct pronunciation is ” SEE AT ” so you can imagine i felt a bit of a knob asking for the guys from “SAY IT”

A couple thoughts I had that didn’t quite make the video, we trim them down as much as possible otherwise they would be half an hour long!

Visibility in this car was amazing, big windows and a massive windscreen that felt close gave a great view of what was ahead. Behind was another story, small wing mirrors average visibility out the back and tricky blindspots at times. All of this is easily solved by when passing check your mirror drop 2 gears and bury your foot in the floor, anything that might have no been visible is now so far behind you it wont matter anyway.

Places to put stuff, this is always a big one for me, from where to place the cell phone, the can of drink and whatever other bits of tech I have on me at the time. There are cubby holes for everything although the drink holders looked small they did hold a 500ml can and kept it out of the way.

It turns out there is a very limited run of the Cupra R only getting a slight power increase does get a huge style upgrade and I love this grey gunmetal colour!
