Addendum:
The issues regarding Google maps crashing and locking up this phone were told to me by the PR agency to be Firmware related – This unit has been sent away to be ” fixed ” and we will update if and when we get this back to check if its been fixed. The reason I didn’t do the firmware update was because, As I understood it at the time this wouldn’t have been something that average joe public would have been able to do – I did do the latest updates etc, So i felt that to keep the review at a consumer level, to do only what fixes a consumer would be able to do. This was told to me to not be the case and the model I had was not plucked from the circulation of phones sold to the public.
We shall see, questions of course are welcome.
