Burger Review – Rye American Kitchen

I know its been a little while folks but heres a banger for yas

Why here?

Cause we were hungry as fuck and I had been here before and I knew it was a quality feed for a decent price.

We got in about 6:30pm and there was plenty of spaces to sit, we just beat the dinner rush as those tables quickly filled up while we were there.

The thing you need to remember with this place is to bring an appetite, because all the starter/share items sound really good and its very easy to get eyes bigger than your stomach, thankfully we know how to eat like pros so…

Of course it was high time to review their burger, So keeping things traditional I opted for the Hamburger instead of the trailer trash which sounded good and upon arrival looked amazing but I needed to keep to a simple common burger for review sake..

Hamburger has:
Handpressed beef patty
cheese
tomato
Iceburg lettuce
dill pickles
caramelized onions

As you can see it also came with fries and coleslaw

Taste wise this was pretty good, I asked for my patty to be well done, given we were in Murica and that’s how you do it there burn that mother fucker amirite?

A choice which I didn’t regret at all, it wasn’t nuked but it had the good crispy burnt coating and a nice tasty inside so I was happy with that, It wasn’t huge not as big as I was expecting anyway ( that’s what she said) but I wasn’t disappointed ( …. )

The great tastes of a simple well prepared burger were great. at $22 for what you see it wasn’t as big a feed as one might hope, but Rye is the place to go we’re told so a price to reflect that isn’t out of the question.

So overall that burger meal gets a solid 8 out 10, but….

There was much much more,

As I said the share plates get you.. big time, we ordered an additional 24 wings, mix of normal and hot and we got those pre burgers we were already loaded up on spicy wings before the burgers came and they were good, infact all of their starters are good I really like this place, If i ever get a match on tinder this is where we’re going.

as a footnote, the Lousiana mudslab (yep I got that too I’m a fat fuck) was tops, tones of flavours without being over the top like that fucking milk everyone seems to lose their minds over.

Anyway, if you’re in the area or want to date me this place is well worth a look but its worth beating the rush or making a booking.. over the summer the street gets shut down to traffic and will be an awesome hangout
